A lawyer working for CME, a UK based, NASDAQ listed Bermudan company, Oliver is responsible for legal and other management issues connected to CME's television stations in Ukraine (Studio 1+1) and Romania (Pro TV and Acasa). He is also a director of Pro TV. Oliver has previously worked in private practice in London, Budapest and Bucharest for Clifford Chance and Taylor Wessing (formerly Taylor Joynson Garrett).

In September 2003 he held the last of his three weddings to Fabiola that stretched from Chelsea, UK (August 2002), Oltenit , Romania (June 2003) and Aldeburgh, UK (September 2003).

Whilst not repaying the wedding induced overdraft, he spends his time commuting to Romania and Ukraine trying to fix the often unfixable, being beaten at tennis, talking about sailing boats he never actually boards and showing off in his Porsche.
