Andrew Taylor is a committed politics junkie, whose public utterances have outraged readers and social acquaintances for many years. Unfortunately a number of otherwise well thought of academic establishments have honed his cutting edge, even awarding him a Ph. D at one point. Having upset too

many libel lawyers in the UK he has been banished to Romania, where he has spent recent years continuing to resist convention and upset authority.

Currently Andrew divides his time between providing management development outdoors services to multinational clients through his company Connect CEE and completing emission reduction transactions, in line with the Kyoto Protocol for Green Market Solutions.

For reasons beyond comprehension the editor of Vivid believes that Andrew has something to contribute to the world and has allowed him to pass off his ramblings as a monthly column. Andrew's previous jobs include recruitment consultant, outdoor activities instructor, shepherd, mushroom picker, lecturer and writer.
