Meet Friedrich Niemann
A graduate of Heilbronn University and the Reims School of Management, Friedrich Niemann - 'Frieder' to everyone but passport authorities - is a born hotelier and has done little else professionally besides 'beds and plates', as he puts it.
Frieder loves to travel, explore the world and enjoy the finer things in life. Since his arrival in Romania in 2005 to take over the reins of one of Romania’s most loved hotels, the Athenee Palace Hilton, Frieder has found as much time as possible to discover the country's beauty and its challenges, which are often intertwined.
Since 2008 Vivid has been the fortunate recipient of his articles on hospitality, travel and tourism, that he began writing in the early 1990s.
