About Vivid magazine
Summary
Launched in April 1999, Vivid is enjoyed by a wide readership base which
includes Westerners posted here by multinationals, Westerners here
working independently, diplomats, and of course many Romanians. Recent
readership surveys reveal that Romanians between the ages of 30 and 40,
who are university educated and fluent in English comprise Vivid's
highest readership growth area.
Vivid's greatest asset is the quality of its journalism; Vivid writers cover Romania 's big issues as well as the not so big. Its politics, business and economics sections are provided by some of the country's most respected analysts in investment banking and business circles. Other sections, all edited by highly qualified writers active in the industry of their focus, include media, management, human resources, conservation, property, food and drink, and health. Vivid writers are regularly called on to write country profiles for Romanian supplements of large international dailies.
Vivid's approach to Romanian issues was made clear in it's first ever issue, in April 1999; much of what was said then remains relevant today.
