Ce faci?
Great, never better. Sometimes, when I am in Bucharest I still miss the beaches of Southern California (especially during the winter), but otherwise things are great.

Do you, or have you, ever had a nickname, and if so, what?
Yes, 'Norge' - derived in a convoluted fashion from the old Saturday Night Live skit involving Dan Aykroyd as a Norge brand refrigerator repair man.

What is your earliest memory?
What time is it now?

What were you like at school?
I was voted Class Clown and forbidden by the principal from ever returning to speak publicly after giving the Salutatorian Speech. This should give you an idea.

Master and Commander.

Twice - on 1st April, 1983 in an argument/near brawl with machete-wielding locals on the Ecuadorian-Colombian border, and in August 1991 getting caught in a riptide surfing off the coast of Hossegor beach in France.

Would you sunbathe naked?
Provided that I had an ample amount of sunscreen with a very high SPF rating.

Would you bungee-jump?
Maybe after ten shots of tequila down in Baja.

Yes, a nasty 16-inch tear in my side where I got skegged by the fin of a 9'6î longboard in Santa Monica Bay.

Any tattoos?
Not that I can recall.

If not, would you ever consider getting one?
No. I got my ear pierced in college, it got seriously infected, so I sort of gave up on self-mutilation at that point.

Where did you spend your most recent holiday?
South Africa - three weeks of sun, surf, great food and wine - I highly recommend it to all!

If you could holiday anywhere, where would it be?
Travelling the South Pacific for about a year with my wife and my surfboard.

If you could live anywhere, where would you live?
Galati. But only in the winter.

What is your greatest personal sporting achievement?
Splitting ten concrete slabs with my bare hand when I used to do competitive tae kwan do.

What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
Drank, actually. On a dare at a party a buddy of mine and I cracked open a bottle of Chinese liquor containing a decomposing lizard floating in what tasted like fomaldahyde.

A 1965 MGB.

Certainly not if you count emails. I correspond frequently with friends and family using this technology.

The Grateful Dead in Philadelphia in 1987, or The Dead Ceausescus in Moldova in 1999.

Peace, love and prosperity - is that still possible?
