Romania's official annual inflation rose by 1.06 per cent in October, a move that the market was not expecting at all and one that made many analysts rethink their end of year inflation target; many analysts had been expecting inflation to fall to 6.0 per cent by the end of 2008. Interesting recent changes include prices of McDonald's products, which moved higher for the second consecutive month after a long period of stability.
